Versailles Home Fashions Inc. was founded in 1987 with the purchase of the Le Boisier, the wood pole division of Gauvreau Beaudry Ltd. Two years later Draco’s Bois Chatel wood pole line was also acquired, quickly making Versailles a leader in this category.
Since then Versailles has grown to be a major importer of drapery hardware including wood and metal rod sets, bamboo window products, tie-backs as well as holdbacks from the best manufacturers from around the globe : N. American, Asian and European.
Versailles has invested heavily in the latest computer technology, such as EDI, to allow for paperless business. This modernization has allowed this company to collaborate with its clients to process their transactions effectively and efficiently.
Many of Canada’s largest retailers, plus specialty and independent stocking retailers, home centres, and distributors are included in our customer base.

In the United States, Versailles services major retail chains, independent retailers, catalogues and dot-coms. Permanent showrooms are maintained in New York as well as at the head office in Anjou, on the east side of Montreal.
